Kiara Richard is the Co-CEO of Sweet Pea and Rose, bringing over seven years of experience in the hospitality industry. Driven by a lifelong passion for connecting with people and creating meaningful experiences, Kiara channels her East Coast charm and love for unforgettable events into her professional work. Originally from the East Coast of Canada, she moved to Toronto three years ago, where she continues to thrive in the event planning industry.
Kiara holds a degree in Sociology with a minor in Anthropology from Memorial University, as well as certifications in Indigenous Studies and Criminology. This academic background provides her with a deep understanding of human behavior and effective communication strategies, which are essential for curating personalized and impactful events. Additionally, her five years of service on the board of directors for a nonprofit folk festival in Newfoundland have further honed her ability to manage diverse audiences and successfully execute a variety of events.
Throughout her career, Kiara has worked alongside Old Mil, coordinating events such as cocktail and beer tastings, scotch pairings, and wreath-making workshops, each reflecting her talent for crafting exceptional experiences.
As Sweet Pea and Rose prepares for the 2025 season, Kiara is dedicated to creating events that bring joy, celebrate connection, and leave a lasting impression on every guest.

CEODanielle Pagura is the Co-CEO of Sweet Pea and Rose, a lifestyle brand specializing in event planning, blogging, weddings and so much more. With a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, she brings a unique blend of culinary expertise, creativity, and event coordination to her work. Originally trained at culinary school, Danielle has spent years honing her skills in cooking, baking, and mixology, making every event she hosts an opportunity to delight and inspire.
In addition to her work in event planning, Danielle is an avid Disney fan, a passionate home cook, and a lover of all things related to garden-to-table living. Whether it's crafting cocktails, growing herbs and vegetables in her garden, or hosting gatherings for friends and family, she finds joy in creating meaningful moments and sharing them with others.
Throughout her career, Danielle has built a strong foundation in hospitality and design, having worked at a Michelin-starred restaurant in New York, interned at a high-end florist, and worked with prestigious event planners. For the past six years, she’s also hosted popular wreath-making classes, and for the past five years, she’s led scotch-tasting classes, helping others discover the art of crafting memorable experiences.
Currently, Danielle is focused on expanding the Sweet Pea and Rose brand with new initiatives such as wreath-making workshops, spring markets, and more exciting events that bring people together in creative and fun ways.
